Because I love music! For context, I\'m 17 and I\'ve definitely already put my 10\'000 hours in or more! I\'ve dedicated an extreme amount of time to learning and I only wish to continue. So any opportunity is a good one and I look forward to seeing your studio grow. :)

Experience

My name’s Jacob. I have experience with digital and analog equipment, I’m a very fast learner, I have experience using Ableton, Logic, Garage Band & Fl Studio and music is pretty much everything I do. When it comes to work experience, I just finished my first score for a 7-minute film releasing this fall and I have another score lined up for an hour-long feature film based in Vancouver that\'s being shot in 11 days. I have also made it a priority to grow the music scene and art scene in Sooke by providing my services and experience with many flourishing artists and peers. My goal truly is to bring out people\'s g͟e͟n͟u͟i͟n͟e͟ expression and create a healthier relationship to music where people can be proud of the things they make and love making it. I believe the difference between a run-of-the-mill studio and a legendary one is really the dynamic between the engineers and the client and I want to be a part of that! (Proficient on guitar and bass, capable on keyboard, cello, double bass, adept in music theory. Familiar with lots of synthesizers and their mechanics. Very invested in engineering as well! :))
